John Tilling

John Tilling is a senior software engineer working in the CICS Strategy and Planning group at the IBM Hursley Laboratory in the U.K. He joined IBM in 1985 after graduating from York University with a degree in Computer Science and Mathematics. He has 26 years of experience developing CICS, working in data access components, and was responsible for restructuring the CICS-DB2 and CICS-MQ attachment facilities to exploit Open Transaction Environment (OTE). He’s a regular speaker at IBM and user group conferences and customer briefings.
