Clerity Solutions, a full-service provider of mainframe migration, modernization, and optimization solutions, today said that Visiant Arcares has used Clerity’s UniKix Mainframe Rehosting software to migrate its leading credit and mortgage management software solutions from IBM® z/OS® on the mainframe to scalable, modern open systems platforms.
The rehosting of Visiant Arcares’ mission-critical financial applications helps preserve the company’s valuable application business logic investments, creates the ability to integrate new technology options to improve and expand services, and provides a cost-effective platform for future workload growth.

Visiant Arcares migrated two central applications, Keystone Factoring and Keystone Financing, using the UniKix software. BluePhoenix Solutions, a value-driven legacy modernization solution provider, participated in the mainframe migration project with UniKix experts from Clerity.
Today, Visiant Arcares maintains and manages its customers’ rehosted applications on open systems servers, providing ERP solutions in Software as a Service (SaaS) cloud model for several very large and prominent financial services and banking organizations, including GE Capital Finance, Italfondiario, the SACE Group, Intesa Belgrado, and Credemfactor.
Clerity has completed many similar mainframe migration projects for financial services industry leaders such as NYSE Euronext, SunGard, and Equifax. End users continue to access the migrated applications through a Web server or a custom Visiant Arcares Web module post migration.
